The Plettenberg Bay Country Club has an 18 hole golf course set in a private nature reserve. The highly rated course is a very popular tourist destination. The main attraction being the challenging layout built to USGA specifications and is rated in the TOP 50 in South Africa.

Set in a nature reserve, the indigenous Flora attracts a large variety of bird life and small animals like antelope and bush pig, etc. Plettenberg Bay Country Club has also become popular with the local bird-watching club and is home to a large colorful bird known as the Knysna Loerie (Taurco corythaix).
The clubhouse provides a great venue for all special functions and events big or small, such as: prize givings, birthdays, social gatherings, team building, conferences and many more corporate events, with the veranda overlooking the 18th green, offers the most beautiful vista. Lounge area and bar with a big screen TV.
