Things To Do with Kids in Mossel Bay
Kids from all ages will enjoy a Seal Island trip on the Romonza. This registered passenger boat that can carry 36 persons is licensed to take you a close as 50 meters to watch the gentle giants of the ocean. The Seal Island trips are every hour on the hour from 10:00 to 17:00 all year round. Whale watching trips are from June to November. A visit to the Bartolomeu Dias Museum is not only educational but very interesting for young and old. The museum is the second biggest provincial museum in the Western Cape and houses the Maritime Museum, the Shell Museum, Aquarium and the Granary. At Southern Comfort between Knysna and Plettenberg Bay children over the age of 15 years are allowed to drive quad bikes on their own and children under the age of 15 can be lifted by an adult. Face Adrenalin Operates the World’s Highest Bungy Bridge. Bungy jumping at the Bloukrans Bridge is said to be the ultimate thrill and one of the most popular adventure activities in the Garden Route.
